Wandering Mind
Connections and associations wander through the strange geometry of existence. The mind enters one door and discovers another door already waiting inside it. Childhood stands in a mirror; desire sits quietly in the corner; a cloud carries an impossible animal across the ceiling. One thought becomes a woman, the woman becomes a tree, the tree becomes a red vase, and suddenly we have travelled fifty years without moving our feet.
Perhaps consciousness is not a straight road at all, but a house whose rooms have forgotten which century they belong to. We wander through it making connections—some logical, some accidental, some so improbable they feel like messages.
And somewhere in that geometry, the wandering mind turns around and discovers that what it was wondering about was existence itself.
