The beautiful and the macabre, ornate and decorated, the goddess of the skull stares quietly from the beautifully painted panel. Many who gazed at it would gradually fall under a continually greater spell of unease. There was something unnatural about the mysterious work of art, they would begin to claim, as though it couldn't have been painted by a human but something dark and sinister. Something without a soul yet always hungry for one.
