More about Trust In God

Sky Tabernacle Lesson of the day-Trust in God.
King David a fugitive for 13 years running for his life from King Saul. . .why? Let's read. . .
Put yourself in David's sandals for a moment. The king whom David honors seeks to kill him. Saul will stop at nothing -- even at sacred boundaries! When David seeks sanctuary with Israel's revered prophet Samuel, Saul no longer fears God. Except for God's intervention, Saul would have killed David in Samuel's very home (19:18-24).
Jonathan, his dearest friend, can no longer associate with him. In fact, David's very presence puts others is danger -- as we'll soon see (22:6-19).
David is on his own, a fugitive, running for his life. Yes, God will be with him during this time -- abundantly -- but David is just learning to walk with the Lord. David is desperate and without resources to make an escape.
God rejected Saul as king over Israel because of his disobedience, and chose David instead, although he was not immediately coronated.
It seems that David is trusting in his own plans instead of in the Lord.
God had already promised that he would be king in place of Saul. David is on his own, a fugitive, running for his life. Yes, God will be with him during this time -- abundantly -- but David is just learning to walk with the ...David continues to be protected by the Lord.
The Philistines attacked the Israelites and David with a military force defended Israel. God enabled the Israelites to defeat the Philistines; but, this victory reminded King Saul of David’s popularity. While David was playing the lyre for the king, again an evil spirit took control of Saul and he hurled a spear at David. The spear stuck in the wall and David left the King’s residence and went to his own house.
This time, King Saul went beyond an impulsive attempt on David’s life. He sent men to watch David’s house and kill him in the morning. Michal, David’s wife, also, the daughter of King Saul, learned of the plot and enabled David to escape through a window. In order to gain more time for David’s escape, she placed an object in the bed and when the men entered the house, she said David was ill. Not to be deterred, King Saul ordered the bed with David in it to be brought to him so he could kill David. Then it was discovered that the object in the bed was not David. Meanwhile, David was on his way to visit Samuel to seek his advice on what to do.
In conclusion, David was a man after God's own heart because he demonstrated his faith and was committed to following the Lord.
