I don't usually tell people what to do with their lives. But EVERYONE who denies CLIMATE CHANGE is an IDIOT. We should stand up for it, if only for selfish reasons. Not for the earth but for ourselves and our descendants. The earth itself doesn't give a damn what we do. We can cut down our forests, fish the seas empty and saturate the atmosphere with radioactive particles. If there are even a few cockroaches, fungi and rats somewhere, a biosphere rich in species will grow again in a few million years.
