In My Dream

In my dream, once more I stood,
Where the sea dissolved in sunset's mood,
Faint and slow, a silent hymn,
Deep in stillness, quiet, dim,
Where the soul gazes at love's eyes, subdued.

Once again, I was young anew,
Happily watching the sun kiss the blue,
In this strangely lovely, profound dream,
And I thought not of past years, aching and few.

Álmomban

Álmomban újra ott voltam,
hol a tenger sóhajtott naplementébe,
mint halovány-lassan,
mély csöndben, némán-szótlan
néz a lélek a szerelem szemébe.
Akkor újra fiatal voltam,
boldogan a vízre szállt Napot nézve
e furcsán-szép, mély álomban,
s nem gondoltam elmúlt, sok fájó évre...
