ArtistYou see a spooky, supernatural carnival procession at night; a blood-red full moon bathes everything in an eerie light, with clouds in the sky and hardly any stars visible. The procession marches toward the viewer through the streets of a small town at midnight. Leading the way is Sir Jupp—an old, friendly, slender skeletal knight clad in rusty medieval chainmail and a rusty nasal helmet—cradling Murray in the crook of his arm; Murray is an old, weathered human skull etched with magical runes and featuring fiery, burning eye sockets. Riding beside him is his best buddy, DEATH (the Grim Reaper), wearing a dark black hooded robe; his hooded skull face reveals glowing bright blue eyes, and he holds a scythe with a blade that shimmers with a greenish hue. He rides his faithful white horse, Binky (the Grim Reaper’s pale steed—a magnificent white stallion). A magnificent brown tabby cat also walks at the front, alongside an all-black cat (Salem) with glowing green-blue eyes. A rat skeleton clad in a black hooded robe—featuring a hooded, earless rat skull and bright shining blue eyes (The Grim Squeaker/Death of Rats)—wielding a small, greenish-shimmering scythe, mounts and flies with a black raven with glowing red eyes named Quoth. Further back in the eerie parade, a motley crowd marches along: Frankenstein’s monster, Count Dracula, the Wolfman (werewolf), the Invisible Man, the hunchback Igor (Frankenstein’s assistant), and various ghouls, skeletons, zombies, vampires, ghosts, and specters. It is a truly chilling sight, even though all the "monsters" are peaceful and friendly, simply wanting to have fun on this special night., Fantasy Illustration, Illustration, Fantasy, YDL, oil on canvas, oil paints, oil panting, painting, canvas, old masters, masterpiece
It is wonderful that we can move about freely and without discrimination on this one special day!
