Inspired by"Certain things catch your eye, but pursue only those that capture the heart." Intricately detailed Mixed media painting on cracked aged canvas. Enigmatic, whimsical, lone wanderer. Surreal, whimsical, contemporary abstract textured oil painting.
A detailed, textured abstract mixed-media artwork features a central large heart shape framed by concentric, curved black bands that emanate outward, etched into a distressed, dark charcoal and metallic gold background. The heart itself is a fractured mosaic of shimmering gold leaf tiles with deep black cracks running throughout its surface. In the upper center of the golden heart, a smaller, smooth, black heart is inlaid, containing a vertical keyhole. Below this, a matching keyhole slot extends vertically down toward the bottom point of the golden heart. Several delicate, dripping streaks of metallic gold paint weep downward from the tip of the heart onto the dark, textured lower portion of the frame. The surrounding background is heavily textured with dark wood grain, crisscrossing lines, geometric etchings, and scattered gold circles, dots, and metallic accents, creating an antique, industrial, and opulent aesthetic.
