A lamentation for Egypt's fall
The nation's pride, now brought so small
A mighty dragon, once stood tall
Now lay defeated, doomed to fall
The king and his people, all laid low
Their power and glory, now just a show
Death has come, and taken its blow
Their future, uncertain, none can know
Oh, let us not be prideful too
For what happened to Egypt, can happen to you
May we seek righteousness, and stay true
Lest we face the same fate, anew.
