ArtistAteria, drawing by Edward Gorey.loose washy watercolor.
An ink and watercolor illustration depicts a woman with pale skin and long black hair sitting on a cliff overlooking a body of water, reminiscent of the Art Nouveau style. The woman has large, dark eyes and her hair is blown by a gentle breeze. She is dressed in a dark, flowing robe with gold embroidery, and her bare feet hang over the edge of the cliff. The background is a dusky, watercolor wash of grays and browns, with two large, luminous golden moons and scattered stars shining in the sky. The light from the moons casts a golden reflection on the water below, which winds through a landscape of dark, rocky hills.
