Raven, clever but full of compassion, could not bear the cries of the children, born without ever seeing light. He flew across mountains and oceans to the sacred lodge where the Grandfarther of the sun kept the only light hidden inside a golden box. With wit and cunning, Raven Stole the light and soared through the sleeping sky, carrying the great gift for the world. When he opened his claws, the first sun burst forth lighting rivers, waking forests, and warming the hearts of all the people. From that day on, Raven was no longer called a thief. He was known as "The Bringer of Light"
