PIGEON UNDER AN INSINCERE SUN - a surreal nonsense played out on a chessboard with insane pgeons claiming they won the game because they littered the board and kicked over the pieces. The pieces themselves are criptid creations reminiscing of the mind of Dr. Moreau under the influence of ayahuasca and funy-bone extract.
An oil painting titled "Pigeons" shows an oversized golden chess board atop an ornately carved table, with numerous pigeons perched on and around it, set against a background of lush green trees on either side and a dramatic archway with a full moon and starry sky in the center. The pigeons are of various breeds and colors, including white, gray, black, brown, and light blue, many with distinct markings. Some pigeons are a uniform gray, some are white with gray patches, one is mostly white with a gray head and tail, one is entirely white, a black and white pigeon, one is black with a shimmering green head and white chest, and a prominent pigeon at the far bottom left is pink and sculpted like a draped cloth. The chess pieces are white and gold, and small folded pieces of paper, possibly representing money, are scattered on the table and the base of the pink pigeon. The chess board has a few gold coins or ornate gold pieces arranged on it. In the background, green foliage surrounds the scene, with a glimpse of an archway revealing a night sky with a large, full moon and scattered white clouds. The archway is composed of brown and tan bricks. A golden, ornate bird perch or part of it.
