They are dressed in warm winter clothing and two mugs of cocoa sit steaming on a small table before them. The ground around the cabin is covered in a blanket of smooth unbroken snow several inches deep. There is a small frozen lake in the background, covered in ice with some small snow drifts across the surface. It is night and the sky if full dark. However, in that peaceful night sky is a beautiful and dazzling display of the Northern Lights. The Northern Lights are a rippling band of striped light. The primary color of the lights is green with a few streaks of purple and pink adding some extra dazzle to the display. The lights give a slight green tinge to the entire scene. A hazy reflection of the lights on the snow covered lake can be made out where the ice is not covered by snow. The snow on the ground had a slight green tinge as reflected from the lights. Above the lights we can make out a few stars on the dark clear night. On the right side of the frame is some scrub and a few evergreen trees. Barely noticeable in the brush is a white rabbit who also seems transfixed by the beauty of the lights. The whole scene, while dimly lit, represents a peaceful calm and tranquil night being enjoyed by a happy couple.
