In the shadows, lurks a fearsome beast,
Its presence felt, its grip increased.
Anxiety, with claws so sharp,
Clutches at the mind, a relentless harp.
It whispers doubts and sows unease,
A constant hum that does not cease,
It steals the breath, it clouds the mind,
A battle fought, so hard to find.
It tightens chest, it races heart,
A storm that threatens to tear apart,
The peace and calm that once were there,
Now replaced by a constant scare.
But amidst the darkness, there is light,
A flicker of hope that shines so bright,
For with courage, and support so true,
Anxiety's grip can be subdued.
With every step, with every breath,
One can break free from anxiety's wreath,
Through self-care, and love, and gentle care,
Anxiety can be tamed, if we dare.
So stand and fight, with all your might,
You are not alone in this brave fight,
For there is strength within your soul,
To overcome anxiety's toll.
With time and patience, and healing too,
You'll find a way to see it through,
And as the sun rises, a new day dawns,
Anxiety's grip, forever gone
