  • Prompt: Well, luckily there haven't been too many bear sightings over there! Even though they are magnificent animals, I wouldn't want them in my yard either. Foxes and deer, on the other hand, are quite nice to watch, as long as they don't get too close to the car. Here, where we live, there seem to be so many deer that they're a real nuisance, always jumping onto the road. I almost got into an accident once when a big buck jumped right in front of me. Luckily, I managed to swerve at the last minute, but my heart definitely skipped a beat! Or maybe you've heard owls hooting at night? Here in the countryside, you really get close to nature, and something exciting happens every now and then. Once, I saw a raven and a buzzard fighting in the air. It was truly an incredible sight, as they swooped and soared around each other. I don't know which one won, but it was certainly a display of the forces of nature! But yeah, back to the deer. Have they caused any damage in your garden? They like to eat all sorts of flowers and bushes. They once ate our apple tree saplings, and that was really annoying. Since then, I've been setting up all kinds of deterrents to keep them away. What else have you been up to in the Lollinjärvi area? Have there been any interesting events or projects going on? Or has life been the usual peaceful country life, as it tends to be here? :)
