The Slothru stood casually to the side and motioned for the pair to approach the Aleatorice. Nia reached out tentatively to touch the texture of the stone which hummed slightly as it received and harmonised the sounds of the lute being tuned. Sumner caressed a note out of the lute and felt the corresponding lightening of the air. Bowing over the strings he sensed a musical score being provided by the stone and as his fingers stretched to meet its melodic demands he felt rather than heard Nia's voice connect to the same harmonic.
