Out from the ruins, out from the wreckage, can’t make the same mistake this time
A watercolor painting depicts a person with dark hair wearing a red jacket and dark pants, standing amidst a foreground of shattered wooden planks, rubble, and debris. The person faces away from the viewer, looking towards a misty jungle landscape. In the midground, a stilt house and another small structure are nestled among dense trees with hanging vines. A rope bridge spans between distant trees in the background, which is dominated by a dark, stormy sky illuminated by several bright, jagged lightning bolts. The overall scene conveys a sense of environmental catastrophe or aftermath of a storm.
