  • Prompt: The Wanderer - Some ideas take a while to percolate to the surface. I’ve been carving clay for a while, musing about ancient marks on rocks in the landscape, about their mysteries, and the language of making ideas and the elements visual. Mostly vague thoughts about connecting with our human past through the medium of much more ancient clay, which has its origins in geological time frames of many millions of years. I’m still not sure who The Wanderer is but first the boat appeared on an earlier jar, and now the one who is aboard.
