Do not redesign, simplify, add, remove, mirror or rearrange anything. Transform the drawing into a physically believable layered sculpture made from several hundred precision-cut sheets of heavyweight artist paper, stacked at small visible intervals. The original pen-line system determines the three-dimensional construction. Line density controls depth: sparse pale lines become shallow, open, widely spaced layers; medium hatching becomes deeper stepped planes; dense hatching and cross-hatching become recessed cavities built from closely packed narrow paper ribs. Dark areas contain more layers and greater depth rather than flat black paint. Strong contours become continuous cut-paper edges through successive layers. Long lines become curved overlapping contours; fine parallel hatching becomes thin paper fins aligned with original strokes; cross-hatching becomes interlocking layers at different depths. Preserve faces, hands and small textures through miniature precision-cut elements. Fine grey and sepia pen traces may remain on outer surfaces, but the image must not be merely printed on flat paper. Every important line influences a cut edge, ridge, interval, height or recess. Use natural white, warm ivory, pale parchment and soft stone-grey paper, with selected inner layers of deep petrol blue, dark teal, oxidized copper and bronze-brown visible mainly on cut edges and inside cavities. Build 8–12 cm physical depth: foreground forms project, secondary forms occupy middle levels and recesses descend through dozens of sheets while preserving original overlaps. Show visible sheet thickness, crisp cut edges, natural fibers, handmade irregularities, softened corners and delicate shadows between layers. Mount the vertical work on a neutral warm-grey museum wall and photograph it nearly frontally from a slight lower-left angle. Soft upper-left raking light reveals every depth. Extremely detailed, tactile, elegant, physically possible and sharply focused. The source drawing remains immediately recognizable.
