A tense oil painting with delicate watercolour washes and fine, intricate black ink linework. A handsome man relaxes blissfully in a steaming therapeutic mud bath, wearing a silky sleep eye mask, completely unaware. Suspended from the peeling, damp ceiling directly above him, a large, menacing red and black spider lowers on a thin thread of silk. Moody chiaroscuro lighting, dramatic shadows, eerie and suspenseful atmosphere, rich earthy tones contrasting with vivid red accents, masterwork, highly detailed. Very tiny signature JKW
Watercolour painting of a man relaxing in a vintage clawfoot bathtub, with his eyes covered by a white sleep mask. The man has short, dark, tousled hair and a well-trimmed beard, and his head rests on a white, rolled-up towel at the edge of the tub. His shirtless torso is partially submerged in the warm water, with wisps of steam rising from the surface. One of his arms rests comfortably on the edge of the tub. Hanging directly above him, suspended by a delicate web near the ceiling, is a large spider with a vibrant red and black patterned abdomen and long, spindly, dark legs with yellow-and-black striped joints. The background features distressed, peeling plaster walls in shades of muted blue, gray, and earthy ochre, creating a moody, atmospheric setting. The lighting is soft and dramatic, highlighting the texture of the man's skin, the details of the spider, and the weathered surface of the bathroom.
