Zeus, the god of skies so high,
With lightning bolts that fiercely fly,
On Mount Olympus, he doth dwell,
Ruling over gods and mortals as well.
His voice like thunder, strong and loud,
His wrath a tempest, fierce and proud,
With eyes that gleam with fiery light,
He rules with power and sovereign might.
Yet, in his heart, a softer side,
For love and passion doth abide,
With many consorts, gods and maidens,
Zeus' desires, like lightning, quick and laden.
But beware his wrath, for it is dire,
His lightning bolts can set the world on fire,
So pay him homage, with reverence true,
For Zeus, the god, commands the view.
Oh, Zeus, the mighty god on high,
With power vast, that reaches the sky,
We tremble at your thunderous might,
And pray for favor day and night.
