The rain falls in sheets, obscuring the view of the road ahead. The only light comes from the occasional streetlight, which casts long, eerie shadows on the wet pavement. A lone car drives slowly down the road, its headlights cutting through the darkness. The driver is hunched over the wheel, trying to see through the rain. The car reaches a bend in the road and disappears from view.
