Abstract oil painting of a clear sky filled with kites flown by me and about a million other children; each kite is tethered by a wide, colorful ribbon in that particular child's favorite color—no two colors are alike, and the ribbons crisscross in complex spatial patterns (or at least they appear to from below)—creating a nearly surreal, highly windy Impressionist scene. But note: the entire image is painted using only rollers (of varying widths, also varying nap lengths~creating diverse textures on the ceiling). The ceiling painting seems to invite one to trip amidst the booming gusts of wings—until one realizes that, in fact, one has no wings...
A brightly lit room decorated in an artistic, whimsical style featuring a painted ceiling with a bright blue sky filled with white clouds, multicolored kites, and long streamers, and walls painted with children in various poses, with one window visible on the right.
