A surreal watercolor painting depicts two fantastical figures standing in a watery environment under a mottled sky with celestial bodies. On the left, a tall, slender man with green skin and a stoic expression, wearing a black, robe-like garment tied with a white sash and traditional Japanese sandals. His dark hair is styled in an elaborate, vertical bun. To his right, a smaller, reptilian creature with yellow skin and black spots, resembling a salamander or newt. This creature wears a dark, reflective helmet-like headpiece with bright green eyes, and a teal-colored sash around its waist. Its long, spotted tail is submerged in rippling water on the right. The background features swirling patterns of blue, green, and brown, with three crescent moons visible on the left and a golden sun and a white ring on the right. Streaks of white and yellow light fall vertically, suggesting rain or light rays. The overall style is reminiscent of Japanese woodblock prints mixed with modern fantasy art.
