An aged, sepia-toned zoological illustration plate of a fictional creature titled Dracohamster dorsalis ignivomis, set against a parchment background with handwritten Latin and Gothic script annotations. The center features two detailed illustrations of the creature standing on its hind legs: one facing the viewer directly and breathing a stream of bright orange and yellow fire from its mouth, and the other shown in profile, also exhaling a flame. The creature is a hybrid of a hamster and a dragon, featuring brown and white fur on its head and body, combined with blue-grey overlapping scales, sharp spines, and spikes running from the top of its head down its back and tail. Around the main figures are smaller detailed diagrams, including a skull anatomy drawing, a skeletal spine diagram labeled Schema Anatonseon, magnified teeth structures, developmental growth stages of the neck, and zoomed-in scale textures, all accompanied by descriptive handwritten labels in black ink.
