He said he'd build her a cottage
with a turret or two, but
got a little carried away,
(at least that's what
the neighbours say)
but she didn't care
for she loved all!
She loved all its bends
She loved all the curves
She enjoyed winding
around the stairs
in a whirl,
peeping out the windows
as she went upon her way
doing her tasks
day to day.
She loved the way the light
beamed within, throughout
all of the cottage, inside
and out, she loved how
she could keep plants
no matter the time
of day, for the windows
faced every way the
sun did roam.
Yes, she loved this
cottage, and called
it home.
