ArtistThe sandwich has been sparingly splashed with just a few drops of very liquid, transparent mayonnaise that catch the light, so as to sparkle slightly. The light source for this image is not seen in the image, but it does directly illuminate the interior faces of the sandwich, bringing out the enticing colors. There is even an artfully positioned small piece of fresh green parsley, for garnish. The sandwich is served in a well-lit pub.
A close-up studio shot shows a sandwich cut in half, placed side-by-side on a reflective metal surface. The sandwich features thick slices of folded pink ham between two slices of golden-brown grilled white bread. Melted white cheese drips from the center of each half, creating small pools on the surface below. Each half is garnished with a sprig of fresh green parsley on top and near the base. The background is softly blurred, showing a dark interior setting with warm lighting reflecting off the surfaces.
