In a spiritual context, Jesus connects to a windmill through the biblical symbolism of "wind" representing the Holy Spirit; just as a windmill harnesses the power of the wind to generate energy, Christians can metaphorically "harness" the power of the Holy Spirit through faith to do good works and live a transformed life, as Jesus taught, since the Holy Spirit is invisible but its effects can be seen, much like wind itself.
Like a windmill using wind to generate power, Christians believe the Holy Spirit can empower individuals to live a life dedicated to Jesus, bringing about positive change and transformation.
I am the windmill and the Holy Spirit is my wind. Jesus says in John 3:8, “The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.” In the natural, I cannot see the wind but I can feel it blowing against my face.
