A surreal, photorealistic scene at golden hour in a vast desert: a young Black African child with short hair, dressed in vibrant, traditional geometric-patterned attire including a beaded necklace, armbands, and a colorful headband, kneels contemplatively on the edge of a small, still oasis pool. Three fantastical fish made entirely of dried twigs, roots, and fibrous plant material float mid-air just above the water’s surface, their organic forms detailed with textured bark and delicate tendrils, each possessing large, lifelike glassy eyes. The fish cast clear, shimmering reflections in the rippling water, mirroring their eerie, floating presence. Behind them, rolling sand dunes stretch into the hazy distance under a warm, gradient sky transitioning from deep orange to soft peach. Gentle dust swirls near the ground suggest a faint breeze. The lighting is cinematic and dramatic — low-angle sunset rays illuminate the child’s profile and the floating fish, casting long shadows and enhancing the magical realism. The mood is serene, mysterious, and dreamlike, blending cultural richness with imaginative fantasy.
