Winter Warning

Based off this poem:
The snow falls dark and heavy,
A blanket cold and grim.
It covers all in sight,
A suffocating dim.

But inside my warm refuge,
I watch the storm rage on.
The fire crackles in the hearth,
A comforting song.

But outside of these walls,
The world is dark and still.
The trees stand bare and broken,
A shivering chill.

Though beauty in the snow I see,
I cannot shake this dread.
For those without a roof to keep,
The snow may see them dead.

Let us not forget,
The struggles of the poor.
May we all come together,
To open up our door.

For in this endless winter,
We must all lend a hand.
To ensure that no one falls,
To the mercy of the land.
