With knowledge to impart,
Taught you the lessons,

Patient and kind,
With a guiding hand,
They helped you to learn,
And helped you to stand.
They challenged you to grow,
And encouraged you to try,
And through their teachings,
You gained wings to fly.
Though time may pass,
And memories fade,
The lessons they taught you,
Will never evade.
So think of your old teacher,
With gratitude and love,
For the impact they had,
On the person you've become.
