Tyr, god of justice and war , is holding his right hand in the mouth of a giant black monstrous wolf. the wolf is lying on the ground and is bound by a thin silver/gold thread in a deep dark dungeon. ambiant lights.. Inspired by Waterhouse.
The gods wanted to bind the growing wolf to protect themselves, so they made a magical, unbreakable ribbon called Gleipnir. Fenrir felt suspicious of the thin ribbon and refused to wear it unless one of the gods placed a hand inside his jaws as a pledge of good faith. Týr, the god of honor and courage, volunteered to put his hand in the wolf's mouth to convince Fenrir to submit to the binding. Once the ribbon tightened and Fenrir found he could not break free, he realized the gods would not release him and bit off Týr's hand in retaliation.
