Alone and shunned, an outcast's plight,
Rejected, ostracized, from day to night.
Misunderstood, and judged too soon,
Their differences deemed, a cause for ruin.
They walk a path, less traveled by,
A solitary journey, under a sky.
Their heart heavy, with loneliness' weight,
Unseen, unnoticed, in a world of hate.
They long for acceptance, a place to belong,
To be understood, for who they are, so strong.
But they stand tall, despite the pain,
Unwilling to let their spirit wane.
For in their soul, a fire burns bright,
A resilience, a tenacity, a beacon of light.
They rise above, the judgment's sting,
Embracing their uniqueness, like a precious thing.
They find solace, in their own truth,
In their own worth, despite the bruise.
They pave their way, with courage and might,
A warrior, an individual, a soul's own right.
So let us see, beyond the surface cast,
And embrace the outcasts, with love that will last.
For in their differences, lies their strength,
A beauty unique, of immeasurable length.
