A girl stands before me, gazing out at the endless downpour, as though lost in thought. In this city, long forgotten by its human inhabitants, vibrant green foliage and vines have taken over, as if trying to reclaim what was once theirs.She led me to a cave opening, and through it, I emerged into a neighborhood that seemed to pulse with life. Lush green trees lined the streets, and the terrain was reminiscent of another city, like Chongqing, with steep slopes and inclines reaching as high as 20 to 30 degrees, and even 45 degrees in some places. Despite the persistent rain, the storefronts and businesses along the lower-lying areas of the street remained open, their facades partially submerged in water.
