As Enaid Longlife sings the ancient and sacred song of life, Agatha suddenly notices a shift in the atmosphere. Something cold and menacing approaches. A creature of shadow and mist rises from the moor. Agatha Misty realizes to her horror, that someone must have summoned this creature to try and prevent them from completing the ritual and achieving their goal of finding the School of Death. The creature rises higher and reaches for Enaid Longlife.
At this moment, Lord Dogula, keenly aware of the danger raises his staff and silently appeals to the his patron, the Goddess of the Moon. She hears his pleas and sends an intense beam of light to ward off the creature. Foiled in its endeavor to disrupt the ritual, the creature retreats back to the demonic plane from whence it came.
Thankfully, throughout this entire ordeal, Enaid Longlife has kept up her song, allowing the ritual to continue.
