Over the years of its existence, it has become a cult group on our music scene. Its greatest strength lies primarily in its live, energetic concerts, which are largely composed of improvisation. The formation consists of a trio of highly respected musicians: Zdeněk Bína (vocals, guitar), Fredrik Janáček (bass) and Dano Šoltis (drums).
After ten years, "Minuty" are now releasing their seventh album, LES. The album is a musical chocolate box, mixing soul, alternative, rock, pop, ethno, new music and funk.
All creative processes came from friendship and were completely natural for the band. With the music that Zdeněk found in the forest, he would then come to the Prague rehearsal room, where he, Fredrik and Dan worked on the album without time limits until they found the optimal shape for each song.
The album is composed of internal questions that we ask ourselves regarding external reality. “Two levels appeared in the lyrics, one relating to someone close to us and the other connecting to something that transcends us,” says Bína. The guest artist on the recording is legendary French trumpeter Erik Truffaz.
