More about Sundowner

A vibrant and surreal landscape painting featuring a dramatic sunset over a fantastical forest. On the left, dark, jagged rock formations or ancient, gnarled tree trunks rise sharply towards a gradient sky that transitions from bright yellow and orange near the horizon to deep teal and dark blue at the top. The sun, a large, glowing white orb, is positioned centrally on the horizon, casting a warm light across the middle ground.

In the foreground and extending into the midground, a field of brightly colored flowers, predominantly red, orange, and yellow poppies, with hints of blue, bloom against a dark, earthy, and mossy ground. The flowers are depicted with distinct, stylized petals. The ground on the left is a deep red, possibly indicating a river or a path of red flora.

On the right side of the painting, a dense forest with tall, slender, dark, and mostly bare trees extends upwards, their roots gnarled and exposed, blending into the dark ground. The tree trunks are thick and textured, creating a strong contrast with the bright sky. Further back, more trees are visible, fading into the blue hues of the background. The overall impression is one of a dreamlike, alien, or fantastical world, rendered
