A rainy day in London, with a typical red double-decker bus and a black London taxi. The scene is rendered in a clumsy, irregular drawing style, blending Lyrical Abstraction and ethereal naive folksy fluidity. Intense, dreamlike, mystical, and enchanting colors dominate, reminiscent of tempera paints. The composition flows with organic motion, reminiscent of abstract expressionism, yet maintains a unique, otherworldly energy. Achieved with ink, watercolor, and encaustic style, using soak-stain technique with hand-drawn messy scrambled outlines and fluid forms. Loose brushstrokes of vivid, dusty pigmented coloring. Influenced by Sam Francis, Roger Bezombes, Henri Matisse. Dramatic composition, vibrant, energetic ambiance.
