Love: Bombs (check out video links to FB and Substack)
A different kind of love story...from the heart, for our times. (Not all battles included.)

I’m not sure this translates without lyrics and music. Please check out the full video on one of the following if so inclined and thank you!

Lyrics I wrote about a month ago. - they may not be perfectly clear bc I was processing a lot of circumstances. The lyrics expressed the messages stuck in my mind... they resonate with me (sorry if confusing)

Love Bombs

The air is thick with pricks of battle
We didn't agree to young death rattles
An unnecessary attack of selfish choice
Declarations in a war criminal’s voice

Let's take up arms, I beseech
Using weapons of mass outreach

Picture launched rockets, bridging gaps as they soar
Not to inflict pain or feed the fat cats more
No distractions or tales ‘bout ‘worst of the worst’
Time to test-fly a mission titled Humanity First

Because they lied …
All’s not fair in love and war

Dropping from skies above - love bombs
Operation Love Letters deployed far and wide
Turning inside-out
Learning to unhide

Tear-stained maps charting conflicts internal
Ripped pages that filled our journals
Gaslit rules penned in blood, fraternal
We wore them like a second skin, a tattooed guide
Invisible, indelibly inked…
It seeped inside

Victim or accessory - the real blind spot
Sight still adjusting - unsee we cannot

Sound and fury of ego and power
Drowned out by booms of a blooming flower
Petals rain down like a tapestry
Mother nature resets the trajectory

We rise with different artillery
Fatigued, we choose to fight differently

For whom is the effort to even the score
They lied … We must learn the art of love, not war
