ArtistThe Upside-Down House where everything is upside down. Show furniture on the ceiling, plants growing downward, meet a confused visitor at the door.bold colors by Botticelli, Rousseau, De Chirico, style
An interior view of a room with a detailed wooden parquet floor, white walls, and a coffered ceiling decorated with landscape paintings in gilded frames. From the ceiling, three sets of red, dark blue, and light blue draperies hang upside down, each partially obscuring a landscape painting and ending in a golden finial. One dark blue drapery is intertwined with a hanging plant. A red armchair with gold trim is positioned in the lower-left, next to an indoor plant in a terracotta pot. On the wall above the armchair, a framed painting of plants in pots is displayed. In the center, a red wooden door is ajar, leading to another room. To the right, another open doorway reveals two figures: a man in a black coat and a woman in white attire. Near this doorway, a large plant in a terracotta pot stands tall. The room is brightly lit, with soft shadows cast on the walls and floor.
