ArtistA surrealist oil painting on canvas with rich, visible brushstrokes and heavy impasto texture. A portrait of a person with short, dark wavy hair against a soft, muted pastel background. In place of the face, there is a stark, deep void of absolute black, with the edges of the hole appearing as torn, ragged white paper, creating a high-contrast tactile effect. Dramatic chiaroscuro lighting, moody atmosphere, fine art gallery style, high detail, evocative and melancholic.
An oil painting features a person with short black hair and a pale, textured complexion against a light background, their head and shoulders visible. In place of the person's face is a large, jagged hole that reveals pitch black darkness, with the edges of the hole curving outwards like torn paper. The thick brushstrokes of the painting are visible throughout, giving the artwork a tactile quality.
