  • Prompt: A black-and-white illustration. The scene: tough men in a prison yard. Some sit on A-frame wooden benches, others lift weights, some play basketball, and one man smokes while leaning against a wall. Others simply rest, leaning against the walls or sitting on the ground with their backs propped up against them. Some are alone, while others are in groups defined by ethnicity (African American, Asian, Latino, white, etc.). Many have tattoos and look stern or menacing. A couple of guards stand near a closed black gate. The yard is bleak and neglected—a expanse of unpainted, gray, somewhat dirty concrete—enclosed by high walls topped with barbed wire. In the background, a guard tower rises, occupied by a guard armed with an AR-15. The weather is autumnal, the sky is overcast, and the atmosphere is somber and hostile.
