Although Saga may follow two lovers who were never meant to be in the vein of Romeo and Juliet, the Landfall native barely touches the damsel in distress role. Instead, she touts the role of the fierce, good-natured, romance novel-reading mother who is an essential part of Saga's galaxy-wide space hunt (and yes, a little nastier than her horn-laden husband).
