More about The Final Plague - Exodus 11 Poem

Egypt trembles, shrouded in dark,
God's wrath unleashed, a mighty arc,
The firstborn, cursed, from highest to low,
Their lives taken, a fatal blow.
Pharaoh's heart, hardened like stone,
Ignored the warnings, left none alone,
Now anguish reigns in every home,
Grief and wails, a mournful tome.
Israel, ready to depart,
God's promise kept, a brand new start,
Exodus begins with night so grim,
Redemption won, on angel's whim.
So ends the tale of Exodus Eleven,
A fateful chapter, wrath from heaven,
But hope now dawns, a journey ahead,
With faith and courage, the Israelites are led.
