Create a watercolour of the following:- The hallways are a river, a rushing, roaring tide, And he is just a pebble, with nowhere left to hide. He wears a mask of silence, a practiced, steady gaze, While drifting through the static of these suffocating days. Inside, the walls are shaking; inside, the sirens wail, A frantic, ghost white panic, a spirit thin and frail. He is screaming in the cellar of a mind that's locked and tight, A desperate, jagged pleading in the middle of the night. Someone help me find the exit, someone pull me from the deep, But the secrets are the only things he's learned how to keep. The words are heavy stones that settle deep within his chest, A heart that beats like thunder, that never finds its rest. He looks at every passing face, the teachers and the peers, But the bridge between them vanishes beneath a flood of fears. What if the truth is monstrous? What if the light is too bright? What if he speaks the darkness and it swallows up the light? He reaches for a handle, then pulls his hand away, The courage is a flicker that dissolves into the gray. He doesn't know the language for the hollow in his soul, Or how to tell a stranger that he's lost all self-control. So he smiles when they ask him, and he says that he is fine, Walking a narrow tightrope, a thin and trembling line. While the boy inside the silence, in the echo of the shell, Is still screaming for a rescue from his own private hell. No text
