ArtistCutout the white spider from image 1. Replace the spider image 2 so that it also becomes a mask for the woman, as if able to metamorphosis into a dragon.
Our facial features are tied to our identity, heritage, and history. When AI tools quietly replicate specific mixed-race traits while feeds get suppressed globally, it highlights a deep issue with how biometric data is handled. We need total transparency and consent when it comes to who owns our faces in the digital age. We can use the body right symbol, a lowercase "b" inside a circle-- b ⭕ -- similar to copyright ©️.
And tag and watermark all we want.
Over the decades mixed race AAPI have noted the propensity for other people to literally use makeup and plastic surgery to emulate or directly copy mixed race features. It's kinda creepy to live on a planet where admiration takes such a extreme amount of plastic surgery and makeup-- and is acceptable in the public eye against those of us who have the closest features to their end result. Yet no one is protecting people of a actual mixed race heritage.
