In Bethlehem, a tale was told,
Of Ruth, with heart so brave and bold,
Her husband gone, her prospects dim,
She chose to stay and follow Him.
Her mother-in-law, Naomi, grieved,
But Ruth refused to be deceived,
With steadfast love and loyalty,
She stayed by Naomi's side with loyalty.
They traveled far to Moab's land,
Through desert heat, o'er shifting sand,
With naught but faith to guide their way,
Ruth's devotion on full display.
In Bethlehem, they finally arrived,
Where Ruth's heart and faith revived,
Her labor in the fields she found,
Where Boaz's grace and favor abound.
He noticed Ruth among the gleaners,
Her faith and beauty like a gleaming beacon,
He blessed her with abundant grain,
And Ruth's heart blossomed, free from pain.
Naomi's heart was filled with joy,
As Ruth found love, her life's new toy,
A faithful husband, Boaz, she wed,
Their union blessed, as God had said.
And thus, the story of Ruth was told,
A tale of love, so brave and bold,
Her faith rewarded, her heart made new,
In Ruth Chapter 1, a tale so true.
