A podium awaits, a stage is set,
For a great debate, a challenge met.
Two sides collide, in verbal duel,
With passion and facts, they aim to fuel.
Arguments crafted, points well-made,
Each side vying, to persuade.
With eloquence and rhetoric, they strive,
To convince the audience, and come alive.
The stakes are high, the tension grows,
As speakers present their views and woes.
With words as swords, they clash and spar,
In a verbal contest, both near and far.
Emotions rise, opinions clash,
Facts and opinions, in a verbal splash.
The audience listens, with eager ears,
As the debaters make their cases clear.
In the end, a winner declared,
Or perhaps, opinions still aired.
The great debate, a battle fought,
With words as weapons, passionately wrought.
A forum for discourse, ideas exchanged,
Perspectives challenged, opinions rearranged.
The art of persuasion, on full display,
In "The Great Debate", come what may.
