Memories in Glass
Long long time ago, in an old palace on the outskirts of Vienna, a ball was held that remained unforgettable in the hearts of its guests. Among the dancers was a young couple whose grace and love captured everyone’s attention. An elderly clockmaker, attending the ball, was so moved by their elegance that he decided to preserve the moment forever.
In his workshop, he crafted a snow globe—not just any globe, but one with tiny hand-carved figures, sparkling crystal flakes as snow, and a miniature ballroom inside. The globe was placed on a base made of walnut wood, sourced from the actual parquet floor of the ballroom.
Since then, it has stood on his mantelpiece.
And in the most special moments, when memories come back to life, the old clockmaker takes out his little treasure and gently places it on his table. His eyes grow slightly misty as he reflects on this quiet yet deeply touching legacy of beauty, elegance, and timeless love.
