ArtistAn oil painting shows a sleeping young giantess forming a valley. Hills are shoulders, a forest is the breasts, and a village rests on its belly and moves, it is the dead of winter,
An oil painting depicts a gigantic woman lying on her back, asleep amidst snow-capped mountains. Her body is colossal, stretching across the landscape, with her head resting on the left and her right arm extended to the right. Her skin, pale and weathered, mimics the texture of earth and stone, partially covered in a blanket of snow. Dense pine forests grow on her chest, resembling a natural top. A small medieval village with wooden houses and church steeples nestles in the snow on her lower torso. Tiny figures of people and horse-drawn carriages travel along paths winding across her body. The background features a vast range of jagged, snow-covered mountains under an overcast sky. The lighting is soft and diffused, casting gentle shadows across the scene.
