Deep in a labyrinth's twisting maze,
A monster lurks, with fearsome gaze.
Half man, half bull, a dreadful sight,
The Minotaur, a creature of fright.
Cursed by the gods, a tragic fate,
A beastly form, with hunger innate.
Feared by all, both far and near,
With roars that echoed, loud and clear.
Lost souls would wander, doomed to fall,
In the Minotaur's dreaded thrall.
Till Theseus, brave and true,
Dared to face the monster, through and through.
With sword in hand and heart of steel,
He ventured forth with nerves of zeal.
Through the labyrinth's winding way,
He tracked the Minotaur, day by day.
At last, they met, in battle fierce,
A clash of strength, a struggle fierce.
With cunning skill and courage bright,
Theseus conquered, in the fight.
The Minotaur fell, his fate now sealed,
The labyrinth's secrets finally revealed.
A tale of myth and ancient lore,
Of a fearsome beast, and a hero's score.
So let us remember, with respect and awe,
The legend of the Minotaur's fierce maw.
A cautionary tale, of anger and pride,
And how a hero's valor can turn the tide.
